Hipster Coffee Joint

$60.00

I’m not a fan of the hipster coffee joints, where the baristas will obviously turn to dust if they make eye contact or treat you, in any way, like a valued member of the human race.

I won’t mention the name of the place but it’s Pasadena’s Intelligentsia.

However, if you can handle the hipsters, it does have good coffee, great light, and even better people watching.

Give it a go. Just don’t mention my name.

Please Read.

I make it simple, kind of.

Black and white photographs come in one size, most of the time, about a 5×7 image printed on 11×14 photo paper. Sometimes, because the print is square, I’ll go with a square outer dimension, 11×11.

Either way, there is a black border around the image, white photo paper that serves a matte, and a black border at the edge of the print, and it comes with a fancy schmancy signature. The print is bonded to board, ready to slip into a standard 11×14 or 11×11 frame (you can find a nice, simple black 11×4 or 11×11 frame on Amazon for about $15). Since it’s bonded to board and comes with an outer black border, it also looks great without a frame.

I say the size is about 5×7 because it’s really about how the image fills the space. It might be a bit larger; it might be a bit smaller. It might be a square image. I just go with what I think looks best. For rectangles, the outer print dimension is always 11×14. For square images, it’s usually 11×11. If you have any special requests, let me know.

One more thing about framing. These look best displayed like a fancy schmancy art gallery displays black and white photographs: smaller image, big ass white matte, simple black frame.

I think it looks best to ditch the glass, just the frame and the print, or no frame. Glass has reflections, is expensive, breaks, and cuts the shit out of your feet.

Shipping is included. 100% guarantee. If, for any reason, you’re not happy, return the print and I’ll return your money.
